Digestion When you eat, you chew your food and it goes into your stomach and gets used by your body to give you energy and help your body grow. When you get a stomach ache or feel like throwing up, that means you are having trouble with your digestion. Some ways to help food digest (move through your body properly): eat smaller amounts, chew slowly and take your time, try not to eat a lot of sugar. It is a good idea to sit down and eat, then go back to playing. Eating and playing or running around is not good for digestion.
